Villa Paratico on Lake Iseo. The town of Paratico is famous throughout the world for its world-famous shipyards, boosted by tourism, which has grown considerably since the 70s thanks to the town's location on the shores of Lake Iseo, in the famous Franciacorta area, now famous throughout the world for the production of excellent wines. After the year 1000, the Lantieri family, lords of this area, built a castle of which only a few traces remain, but according to an ancient tradition, confirmed by the "Chronicle of the Lantieri family of Paratico", Dante Alighieri stayed in the Lantieri castle, which he then used to describe Purgatory in his "Divine Comedy". On a hill overlooking the town and the lake, this villa was built, work on which began in 2005. The villa was built inside an ancient building, in a neoclassical but completely modern style. The house is divided into two separate properties, with a large room for parties and events with shared bathrooms and a dressing room. Each has 4 bedrooms with their own bathrooms, an attic used as a study or recreation area, a double living room and a kitchen. The mansion has a separate guest house on two floors, with a living room and kitchen on the ground floor and 3 bedrooms with a bathroom on the second floor. The park can accommodate a large swimming pool. At the entrance there is an ancient chapel, now completely restored.
