An ancient noble summer residence In the Tuscan countryside between Lucca and Pisa, on the banks of the Serchio River, an ancient villa is for sale, once the summer residence of the noble Poschi family. The 16th-century palace is decorated in a neoclassical and romantic style. This is reflected both in the interiors and in the imposing façade of the mansion, as well as in the elements decorating the hall on the ground floor, where paintings depicting landscapes serve as a background for powerful Doric columns. Other neoclassical elements can be found in the paintings on the vaults of the second entrance and in the figure of Aurora on the ceiling of the first floor. Above, in the frescoed and restored beamed hall, magnificent paintings by Pocini are on display. As a result of the restoration in 2010, the villa, with a surface area of 1,600 square meters, now has nine more rooms, including suites and bedrooms decorated with frescoes. Link: 7180
